Why Video?

I get asked "Why Video?". I always answer "If a picture is worth a thousand words . . . how much is a thousand pictures worth? And if you add Music, Sound and Text in an interactive mix . . . what is that worth?"

Video consumption is up 33% from last year "Comscore"

With interactive Video you deliver to your audience complex and compelling Site, Sound and Text. Your message driven home in a NOT BORING way but rather in an interactive suite of entrhalling sites and sounds overlaid with your message.

Marshall McCluan said that "Media is the message". By that he meant that the media you use to deliver your message alters, inhances and impacts the message itself. Video delivers the biggest bang for the buck. It enhances and drives home your message like none other.

On the Internet Video gets better results than any other medium.

  • 52 percent of viewers take action after watching
  • 30 percent of viewers visit a store
  • Clicks for more information increase by 30-40 percent
  • Phone calls to your business increase 16-20 percent
In one week in January of 2009 over 63 million people viewed a YouTube video. Thats more than any TV network in that week. In April, 2009 78.6% of the total U.S. Internet audience viewed online video. The average online viewer watched 6.4 hours of Video. The average online video duration was 3.5 minutes.

Powerful statistics and a powerful media.
